Known primarily in Sweden and Europe, Robyn gained fame as a singer and songwriter with such albums as Robyn is Here (1995), My Truth (1999) and Don’t Stop the Music (2002). But Robyn (2005) is re-energizing her international stardom and building her reputation as a businesswoman as well.
Had her breakthrough in 1997 with the hit-singles Do You Really Want Me and Show Me Love. Changed her name from Robin to Robyn to "make it more feminine". She was a guest at the talk show TV-Huset (Oktober 2005) Her song "Show Me Love" was used in the English version soundtrack to Fucking Åmål. August 2007 - Had a UK number 1 single with "With Every Heartbeat" a duet with her band member Andreas Kleerup. This is from her 4th album.
