Olivia Newton-John was one of the first female singers to successfully undergo an image makeover, transforming from sweet and innocent country-pop singer (with hits like "I Honestly Love You," and "Have You Never Been Mellow"), to slightly more risqué pop singer ("Physical," "Make A Move On Me"). She starred as Sandy in 1978's Grease, where she originally exhibited her transformation from cute and bubbly goody-goody into leather-clad temptress. John's friend performed the civil ceremony, which was only attended by Olivia and John.
