Never graduated from high school. The title track from Mary's latest album "No More Drama" contains samples of the theme "The Young and the Restless" (1973). Credits her husband, Kendu Isaacs, for helping her clean up her act and to overcome her drug and alcohol addiction. Her hit song and music video "Be Without You" from her latest double platinum selling album "Breakthrough", was just retired on BET's 106 & Park, after 65 consecutive days of being on the countdown. [March 3, 2006] Her mother, Cora Blige, survived a stabbing in 1987 by a neighbor. Her music video "No More Drama" was shot on Sept. 12, 2001, the day after the terrorist attack on the Twin Towers in NYC. She personally asked Mariah Carey and Sean Combs to appear in her video for "No More Drama", because she felt they both had their fair share of drama recently.
