Husband, Ian Devaney, is her music co-writer.The couple have known each other since they were 14-year-old classmates. They formed a writing partnership and band together with another school friend, Andy Morris, but it took 10 years for Lisa and Ian to realise their true feelings for each other. She almost landed the role of ditzy bridesmaid Scarlet in Four Weddings and a Funeral and the lead role in Indecent Proposal. Winner of the Brit Award for British Breakthrough Act in 1990.
