Lead singer of "Popstars" (2000/I) band Hear'Say, who had two UK Number 1 singles - "Pure and Simple" and "The Way To Your Love" - and a UK Number 1 album, "Popstars".
The youngest of four children, having a sister, Tracy, and two brothers, David and John.
After leaving school, worked in a number of jobs including receptionist and shop assistant.
At 16 she did some backing vocals for the group Freaky Realistic.
Won Best Actress for her role as Michelle Connor in "Coronation Street" (1960) at the Daily Star Soaper Star Awards in February 2008.
Named Celebrity Mum of the Year by Tesco Magazine in February 2008.
Won a All About Soap Bubble Award for Best Celebrity Style. [April 2008]
In July 2003 she released her debut solo album 'Standing Tall', which contained the singles 'Cry', 'Come On Over' and 'Sentimental' along with twelve other tracks.
Won the Best Dressed Soap Star award at the Inside Soap Awards in September 2008.
Son, Archie Jay Lomas, passed away February 11, 2009, after being born prematurely.
Daughter of Pauline Marsh.
