Signed record deal with Curb Records on 6 September, 2003. She was born to a white mother and a black father. The oldest finalist from either of the first two seasons of American Idol, Kimberley was often described by her fellow contestants as the mature, level-headed one of the house, who was like a big sister to everyone. After leaving Curb Records in 2009, Kimberley became the first artist signed to Randy Jackson's new dance label, Dream Merchant 21.
