Joss Stone is vowing to stand up for Tom Cruise, insisting that he's misunderstood.

"Tom called me and said that he loved my music, would I like to come over and meet the family? I do not understand why people are so mean about him. He's lovely, he didn't strike me as weird in any way. I will stand up for that man against any of his critics."

So just because he called her to tell her that he loves her music and wants her to meet his family means he's not weird? The fact that he bothered to call her and tell her he loves her music is enough reason to question. I also don't think that having Joss rush to his defense is helping his image.
