Foxy Brown has reportedly insists that her year-long prison sentence was totally unjust because the punishment didn't match the crime. However, now that Inga Marchand  (real name) has been released four months early on Friday, April 18, 2008, she is turning to God in thanks for supporting her.  Brown said:

"I did not deserve a sentence that harsh."

Miss Brown was sent to prison for a series of probation violations.

She told the music network:

"There were days when I just thought I could make it through; I was sitting down (and) eating next to drug addicts, next to killers. I have a whole newfound respect for my freedom. Little things I would take for granted... like a Snickers bar... It's an incredible feeling. I feel really good."

Foxy's priority was getting to church as soon as possible:

"I really, really want to go to church first and get it right with God. It's only through His grace that I was able to survive this, and I want to get down on my knees and thank Him."

A lot of people seem to find God while they're in the slammer. I wonder if she had enough time to become a minister too.
