Eminem's song "Stan" uses samples from Dido's "Thank You," which made her famous on both sides of the Atlantic. Another one of her songs "Here With Me" is the theme song for the popular TV show Roswell.
Her first musical instrument was the recorder. Her song "Thank You" was sampled by rapper Eminem in his controversial hit single "Stan". Brother is Roland 'Rollo' Armstrong from the music group Faithless. Dido provided vocals on their recordings and shows. She entered London's Guildhall School of Music at the age of six.
