Was crowned Miss Teen Black Arizona and Miss Black Teenage World at age 15. Graduated from the University of Arizona where she majored in Vocal Performance. Can sing in French, Italian, German, Hindi and Portuguese. Won a silver medal in the NAACP international music competition held in Los Angeles. Her 2000 hit "Dance With Me" reached #8 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.
