Rocker Courtney Love is desperate to flee her hectic lifestyle in "dirty" Los Angeles and set up home in the English countryside. She has previously house-hunted in the British capital and even viewed Kate Moss' north London apartment, but pulled out of the $7 million deal after deciding it was not for her.


Courtney Love can't wait to ditch "dirty Los Angeles" for "cleaner England." The former Hole frontwoman is looking for a quaint English countryside home to have a healthier place to raise her teenage daughter.

Love, 43, had inherited her late rocker husband Kurt Cobain's $70 million fortune in 1994 when he committed suicide. Their daughter, Frances Bean, is now 15 and Love fears that Los Angeles isn't a good place to raise her daughter. She is currently house-hunting in the British countryside.

The 43-year-old singer filed a police complaint last week regarding conmen who used Kurt Cobain's social security number to buy a $3.2 million house in New Jersey last year. Also included was the allegation that the identity thieves opened more than a hundred credit cards in her name and stole $69 million from them and their daughter Frances Bean's trust fund.
Rocker Courtney Love has slammed reports she is bipolar, insisting claims she is suffering from the disorder are "slander." The former Hole singer is furious her erratic behavior is constantly being referred to as a result of the alleged illness, although she does admit to being somewhat "eccentric" because of her tendency to speak her mind.
