Vanessa Minnillo wasn't proposed to by boyfriend Nick Lachey at New Year, the presenter has insisted.

Rumours were kick-started after Nick was seen whispering something to Vanessa which made her cry as she presented MTV's New Year's Eve party in Times Square, New York. The pair then shared a kiss as the clock struck midnight.
