Rena started out as a model for Guess Jeans and Pepsi before making a major career change in the mid-'90s. In 1996, she adopted the alter ego of "Sable" and became the then-named World Wrestling Federation's female champion in 1998. She left the organization in June 1999, returned in 2003, then was released from her contract in August 2004.
