Tiger Woods wasn't the only living creature whose life was ruined on that fateful night in November 2009 -- the tree he crashed his Escalade into has been murdered ... TMZ has learned.

Sources close to the tree tell us ... new neighbors moved in recently and began remodeling -- and one of the first things they did was tear down the infamous oak tree.

The construction company that did the job tells us the tree was in bad shape ever since the crash -- and even though the new neighbors knew full well the tree's place in history, they decided to get rid of it anyway.

And don't think the tree will be showing up on eBay anytime soon -- it was NOT saved, it was simply trashed.

We're told a new tree will be planted soon, but in the meantime ... there's a Porta-Potty in its place.

Symbolic of where Tiger's career has gone, don't you think?

The photos were taken on Wednesday -- while Tiger was aboard his ultra-private yacht named Solitude.  The boat was reportedly custom built for Elin ... and cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $2-3 million.

It appears Tiger got to keep the boat.

As for the mystery woman on the ship -- we're told she's Tiger's nanny ... and not a love interest.

Sources tell TMZ the gang spent half the day fishing and diving off the boat ... because they can.

We reported Jamie hooked up with Rachel twice in Miami in October, 2009,  when they were staying together-- less than 2 months before the scandal broke.  Jamie's friends now tell TMZ ... Rachel is lying and that they never had sex and never stayed together.

But  other people familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... Rachel and Jamie went down to Miami in October, 2009, to work on a plan for a new investment business.

We're told the 2 stayed together for 2 1/2 weeks -- at the home of Chris Barish, the third partner in the prospective business.  Jamie had a girlfriend at the time -- a model named Inez -- but she wasn't around much.

 

People who were at Barish's house tell us ... Jamie came into Rachel's room late at night twice and the two hooked up ... and they heard Rachel discussing it with Barish the morning after each liaison.

Ironically, at the time this was allegedly going on, we're told Chris Barish hooked up with Jen Madden, the woman who sold the Tiger story to the National Enquirer.  And get this -- people staying at Barish's house tell us ... Jen got a lot of her info from discussions between Rachel, Jamie and Chris about Tiger's illicit relationship with Rachel.

As for Jamie and Elin, we're told they've been quietly dating for 6 months.

The ex-wife of Tiger Woods is healing her broken heart with the help of a new man.

The guy is Jamie Dingman, a New York marketing exec. 

A Swedish photo agency came to TMZ with what they said was a photo of the two, kissing and hugging outside Elin's apartment in Sweden.  TMZ has seen the photo -- but the agency decided it wanted to hold it ... at least for now.

Jamie's dad, Michael Dingman, is a very wealthy investor.  Jamie specialized in Russian private equity funds and he also owned an Indy car-racing team.

He reportedly dated Bridget Moynahan, Tom Brady's baby mama.  He was also linked to Princess Madeleine of Sweden, but the New York Post says they were just friends. It does, however, provide a Swedish connection.
