"The restraining order they sought was to suspend visitation this weekend because of the "20/20" broadcast, which Mr. Cook never had any intention of showing to the children," Cook's attorney James Winkler tells "The Insider." The hugely popular Jonas Brothers boy band took a break from playing large venues for a more intimate concert this weekend at the elite Ross School in East Hampton NY.    In fact, it took the Jonas Brothers performance to bring warring exes Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook together to work out a to allow their kids to see the boy band.   Christie wanted to take the kids to a Jonas Brothers fundraiser on Saturday at the posh private Ross School, but it was actually Peter's weekend to have the children, the New York Daily News reports. Christie first arrived at the school with 13-year-old son Jack in tow before the show began and was even able to take him backstage to meet the young members of the boy band, the News said.  By noon, when the actual concert started, Christie left just as Peter was arriving with their daughter Sailor Lee, 10. The kids were then able to enjoy the rest of the concert with their father.

Christie Brinkley's ex husband Peter Cook says he regrets having an affair during the couple's 10 year marriage.

The former supermodel filed for divorce 2 years ago when she discovered he was cheating on her with his teenage assistant Diana Bianchi, now 21.
Christie Brinkley's ex-husband Peter Cook has spoken. In an interview with Fox News,  Cook says his biggest regret is that he did not make a "better decision" three years ago when he had an affair with the then 18-year-old Diana Bianchi. Cook said that if he could go back and do it over again he would have said, "No, I'm a married man." Brinkley and Cook's divorce trial ended Thursday, with Brinkley winning sole custody of the couple's two children, Jack and Sailor. The days leading to the court decision involved many private matters being made public. Cook expressed the fact that he was resentful when asked how he felt about everything being "dragged through the public mud."  "Christie has been waving a victory sign as though she just a won a war and I just don't see how there's a victory for anyone at the end of a fourth marriage and what these children were exposed to unnecessarily, I don't see the victory in it."  The architect says that he does not regret the ten years that he was married to the supermodel. As for his current relationship with Brinkley, Cook reveals that it is "very strained" but he believes that eventually it will heal.

Christie Brinkley has vowed never to remarry after reaching a settlement in her high-drama divorce trial with Peter Cook.


After an exhausting trial, model Christie Brinkley exclaimed "I'm free! ... I've got my sweet freedom!" in an exclusive interview with Andrea Peyser of the New York Post. Shortly after her victory against ex Peter Cook, Brinkley told Peyser, "I'm not going to marry again."  It was clear that when the model left the court, displaying her million dollar smile, that the battle was over. According to the Post, Brinkley said, "It's to me a very bittersweet moment because it really is the death of a marriage. It's also a new start for all of us. "I'm very pleased with the results today. I was here fighting for custody." In her interview with Peyser, Christie tells why she fought so hard. "I was fighting for my family. ... I think when your fighting for your family's well-being, almost anything you have to go through is worth it." Brinkley told Peyser that she was hurt most by the way she was portrayed in court -- as a woman out to seek revenge. Christie said testimony by the court-ordered shrink should have completely dissolved that allegation. He clearly said "Christie has no disorders. Christie has no neuroses. Christie's anger is to be expected." On Thursday Brinkley was awarded full custody of her two children Jack and Sailor, her two children with Cook. Her estranged husband walked away with $2.1 million dollars.(The Post reports $2.1 million dollars comes down to $210,000 per year of marriage.) As Cook walked away from court on Thursday he stated "I've got everything I've been asking for two years." However a source tells the New York Post claims that Cook is disappointed that Brinkley was awarded all of the properties that he helped "pick out" during their union.
