Jerry Sandusky's lawyer says he thinks he found the boy who was allegedly raped in the shower that has become the flashpoint for the scandal, and the man -- now in his 20's -- is saying it never happened.

Joe Amendola told Ann Curry on "Today" ... prosecutors have never given him the names of the accusers, but he believes he's found the alleged victim, and if indeed it is him Mike McQueary is lying.

Amendola also concedes, "It is possible Jerry did this [molested kids]" and if he did he should be punished. 

And Amendola echoes what Sandusky told Bob Costas last night ... it was bad judgment for him to shower with young boys, especially when there were complaints as early as 1998.

The New York Times is reporting ... around 10 additional alleged victims have now come forward.

Obama, who made his statement to "Today" anchor Ann Curry for broadcast Tuesday, said "Well, obviously what he did was highly inappropriate.  I think he's embarrassed himself, he's acknowledged that, he's embarrassed his wife and his family."

Obama continued, "And when you get to the point where, because of various personal distractions, you can't serve as effectively as you need to -- at the time when people are worrying about jobs and their mortgages and paying the bills -- then you should probably step back."

FYI, Obama also suggested last year that Congressman Charles Rangel (D-N.Y.) resign on ethical grounds, but he stayed put.

Reuters - NBC is expected to announce on Monday that Ann Curry will become co-host of morning television show "Today," according to The New York Times.
The mother of slain swimsuit model Jasmine Fiore speaks out the morning after Ryan Jenkins, her daughter's ex-husband and a fugitive suspect in Fiore's murder, was found dead from an apparent suicide. Fiore's mother, Lisa Lepore, tells the "Today" show host Ann Curry of hearing the news of Jenkins' death, “It’s a mixed reaction. It brings some closure to what’s been going on. ... We don’t have to worry about looking for him anymore, or being worried that he’s a threat to any other women or men. We still have a long process of closure.” Fiore's former boyfriend,  Robert Hasman, also appeared on the "Today" show and revealed that he was in contact with the swimsuit model via text messaging days before her death. When asked if his contact with Fiore could have pushed Jenkins over the edge, Hasman replies, "I can only assume that that might have been the cause, his motive." “We exchanged several texts, also e-mails as well,” Hasman said. “The last text I received from her was about 1:45 in the morning on Friday. She wanted to come to Las Vegas. She wanted to come and see me. Her last message was, 'I’m coming.'" Jenkins -- former contestant on VH1's reportedly canceled reality show "Megan Wants a Millionaire" -- was found hanged at the Thunderbird Motel in Hope, British Columbia on Sunday, a spokesperson for the Orange County District Attorney's Office tells ET. Jasmine's mother says of her daughter's relationship with Jenkins, “She didn’t really need him. She had a lot going for her. She had good friends. I just encouraged her in her separation. It’s kind of all you can do.”

Did the mother of octuplets have plastic surgery to look like Angelina Jolie? Will she have more children or will she stop at 14? Nadya Suleman reveals her answers!   Suleman was interviewed on Tuesday night's "Dateline" and host Ann Curry informed the mother of 14 that many viewers had written to NBC and suggested that Suleman purposely tries to look and act like Angelina Jolie. "I have never even thought of Angelina Jolie except the last time I saw a movie," Suleman says in her defense. "I think that was like years ago. This is so far away from the place I'm in right now to think of any celebrity." As far as plastic surgery, a "Dateline" producer asked Suleman if she has had her lips done, "No, No" she replied. Curry also asked the 33-year-old mother if she is done having kids, Suleman said, "A hundred percent. Two hundred, three hundred, four hundred percent. Yes. I'm done." "This happened for a reason," Suleman said of giving birth to octuplets. "This is actually a message I believe from God saying, 'You are done.' It's more than doubled the family size. So now I have to really really realize that this, this has to -- it's done." On Monday, Suleman revealed the names of her eight babies.

Nadya Suleman, the mother who grabbed headlines after she gave birth to octuplets last week, has granted her first interview to NBC News' Ann Curry -- and ET has the details! In the exclusive interview airing on Monday's "Today" show on NBC, Suleman tells Curry she tried getting pregnant for seven years, and then eventually turned to in-vitro fertilization to conceive all 14 of her children using the same donor. As for why she chose to have so many children, Suleman says: "That was always a dream of mine, to have a large family, a huge family, and -- I just longed for certain connections and attachments with another person that I -- I really lacked, I believe, growing up." The mother of 14 went on to say her childhood played a big role in her decision, telling Curry what comforts she lacked as a child: "Feeling of self and identity," Suleman tells Curry. "I didn't feel as though, when I was a child, I had much control of my environment. I felt powerless. And that gave me a sense of predictability. I-- reflecting back on my childhood, I know it wasn't functional. It was pretty-- pretty dysfunctional, and whose isn't?" A sneak peek at Curry's interview will air Friday on "Today," but the complete interview will air on the show Monday. The interview will also run Tuesday on "Dateline" at 10 p.m. on NBC.
