Lou Rawls Jr. is suing Marvin Gaye III, claiming that in 2005 Gaye's four dogs attacked him while he was visiting Gaye's Hollywood home.

The suit was filed the first week of January 2007 in Los Angeles Superior Court.
Rawls claims the dogs "bit, clawed and physically and mentally injured" him, causing him to suffer "loss of blood, tearing of flesh, multiple dog bite wounds, fear of disease" and other injuries, according to court documents.
