Prior to becoming a journalist and TV presenter, she used to work as a racing instructor at Silverstone.
She started racing karts at the age of 12. In her very first race, she was overtaken by future Formula 1 driver David Coulthard.
While Vicki works for Channel 5 presenting "5th Gear" (2002), her husband works for the BBC as part of the production staff on rival motoring show "Top Gear" (1978).
She grew up on the family farm, and was educated at the Perse School for Girls in Cambridge, England.
Drives a Mark 2 VW Golf GTI and a Honda S2000, and rides a Ducati Monster 750 motorbike.
