The only actress to appear as 4 different aliens in 3 different "Star Trek" series: Vulcan Lt. Selar and Klingon K'Ehleyr on "Star Trek: The Next Generation" (1987), the female Q on "Star Trek: Voyager" (1995) and Tarah, the first female Andorian on "Enterprise" (2001). Her big break came when Anthony Newley cast her opposite himself in the 1987 revival of "Stop the World, I Want to Get Off". Family - Parents: Philip Plaksin and Cilda (Philip died on 1 August 2000 in Greater Los Angeles, at the age of 75); siblings: Michael Plaksin and Barbara Berger (née Plaksin); uncle: Irving Plaksin. Playmate Toys put out an action figure in her likeness as her character, K'Ehleyr, from "Star Trek: The Next Generation" (1987). Grew up in Kingston, Pennsylvania.
