A: You can still wear strapless dresses! The magic of a pashmina shawl or faux fur wrap will solve all your problems. Have fun with colors and prints to add a youthful, vibrant pop! Q: Hello Anya, I love your show and your tips are great! Could you possibly give me an idea for what to wear on Valentine’s Day because I keep going blank and the school I go to will have an early Valentine's dance. Thanks in advance! A: Thanks so much for watching! Glad you love my tips! Valentine’s Day is my favorite holiday so this is a fun question for me. The typical colors to wear are red and pink, but I can tell you are not looking for anything typical! Go for a lilac or shimmery metallic that will wow, stay on theme, and make you stand out in any crowd! Q: What do you do if you have no sense of style and still go to school? A: All you need to do is watch my fashion segment every day and you will be a fashionista before you know it! Q: I have a Broadway play to go to. I can't do heels because my date is on the short side. What do I wear for both clothes and shoes? I need your help as soon as possible, the play is January 15! A: I’d love to help! If you are wearing a dress, stick to fabulous flats or sexy kitten heels. Flat boots and tights would be great as well! Q: Hi Anya! I'm going to a formal ball in New Orleans in early February. I have a floor-length, raspberry-colored Nicole Miller strapless gown. What color shoes and what type of accessories should I wear? A: You are right on style -- fabulous fuchsia is the "it" color this season! With raspberry, you have a choice of either gold or silver. If I were styling you, I would prefer gold because it has a warmer tone. Try a gold peep toe heel, large gold cuff, and chic chandelier earrings. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week kicks off the biggest fashion event of the season this Friday on the catwalks in the tents at Bryant Park in Manhattan -- and "The Insider" will be there with all the stylistas! We will bring you all the latest on the upcoming spring fashion lines, as well as the scoop on which celebs turn out -- and just how stylin' they are! Among the first designers to display their collections at the invitation-only events are Diane von Furstenberg, Max Azria, Perry Ellis, Nicole Miller, Tracy Reese, Donna Karan, Rock & Republic and Miss Sixty. "The Insider" will also be front and center for Conde Nast and CBS' "Fashion Rocks," which kicks off fashion week with a star-studded extravaganza celebrating the relationship between fashion and music. This year's event will donate the money raised to "Stand Up to Cancer." Just a few of the names at this year's bash, which will air on CBS on Sept. 9, are Beyoncé, The Black Eyed Peas, Chris Brown, Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, Keith Urban, Mariah Carey and Rihanna.
