Niece of director Mark Rydell. She has worked with him twice, in For the Boys (1991) and James Dean (2001) (TV). In 2004 she became a lifetime member of the Actors Studio. She attended the 2005 Sundance Film Festival with the film The Talent Given Us (2004), directed by her brother Andrew Wagner, in which she stars. Made her screen debut in Working Girl (1988). She was one of Tess' birthday party friends hiding in the bathroom. Maggie starred in Melissa Etheridge's music video "Fearless Love" in 2010. Maggie played the mom of actress Willa Cather. The story is a young woman running away from an abusive household. The video was shot in Tarzana, California directed by Jay Martin and produced by Def Island Jam label.
