She was taught by Monica Wild at the Alexander Academy south croydon. Attended The Italia Conti Academy for one year to complete ballet studies. Made her stage debut in the production of "Neap Tide" at London's National Theatre (1984). Is the long-term partner of model Spencer Hayler. Toured with the stage production of "The Vagina Monologues" (2004). Performed in the stage production of "Soap" at The Royal Theatre (2007). Her "EastEnders" (1985) character Natalie Evans became the eleventh woman on the soap opera to give birth. Natalie had a son Jack (played by twins Joseph and Samuel Timson), born on 11 January 2002.
