Luci van Org had in 1994 a number one hit single in Germany with her band "Lucilectric" named "Weil ich ein Mädchen bin" (Because I'm a girl). She released, together with her co-singer Ralf Goldkind, three CDs with a new style of fun music often compared to the "Neue Deutsche Welle".
