JESSICA SIMPSON’s advert for US satellite providers DirecTV has been taken off screen while a false advertising lawsuit is prepared. Manhattan judge LAURA TAYLOR SWAIN has pulled the advert while DirecTV legal representatives defends the company against a lawsuit from Time Warner Cable, who dispute the advert’s claim DirecTV’s satellite broadcasting is superior to cable.
