La Toya Jackson spoke on the British television program "The Paul O'Grady Show" about the tragic death of her brother Michael Jackson, revealing what his daughter Paris said when her father was in the hospital and why, La Toya says, Michael thought he would be killed. La Toya recalls her conversation with her niece, saying, "She said, 'You know auntie La Toya, what happened is that they worked him too hard. He never got the chance to rest, it was just non-stop work." "I said, 'You're kidding.' ... [to which Paris responded], 'You don't understand, they just kept working him and daddy didn't want that, but they just worked him constantly.'... So all of these things, you start putting all of these elements together and start thinking, 'OK, this one's saying this, that one's saying that,' and it makes a lot of sense." According to La Toya, her brother feared for his life because of his extensive music catalogue that includes The Beatles. "He said, 'La Toya, if anything happens to me, if I die, it's because someone murdered me -- they would kill me -- they're trying to kill me,' -- and he would say that and it wasn't that he was being delusional, they did this over his catalogue. ... He would go back and fourth and say, 'It's too dangerous,' and he said, 'They'd kill me over it,' and look what happened."

Michael Jackson was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award on Wednesday night at the Music of Black Origin Awards in Glasgow, Scotland. According to the Daily Mail, Jermaine Jackson accepted the posthumous award on Michael's behalf. Sister La Toya Jackson was also present to introduce a tribute to her late brother, in which Jermaine sang Charlie Chaplin's "Smile," the Daily Mail reports. Other performers contributed to the tribute as well. Founded in 1996, the MOBO Awards are the first awards show in Europe to honor urban music.

She has said that she believes Michael was murdered. To clarify, today she added that she didn't know if it was deliberate, but feels doctors "should know what they're doing." "I'm really not at liberty to speak about this in full context just yet," she said, concluding that the situation is "very convoluted." She also said her brother was paranoid that he would be murdered and told her many times; "They’re going to kill me." Meanwhile, she made sure to mention that charity is at the heart of their family. Because Michael was close to Project AIDS Los Angeles, "every single penny" from her song "Home" will be donated to the non-profit organization.

On Friday night's "20/20," Michael Jackson's older sister La Toya Jackson explained why she felt that "something terrible would happen" to Michael. Plus, she opened up about how the late King of Pop's children are coping with the loss of their father. During her interview with Barbara Walters, La Toya claimed that Michael "constantly" told her he feared for his life. "I knew Michael was surrounded by people that positioned themselves in his life, positioned themselves to control and take advantage of him. And that's what bothered me more than anything else because I knew something terrible would happen at the end." She continued, "Not to mention the fact that Michael constantly told me, 'La Toya ... if I die ... they're going to murder me, they're going to kill me.'" When asked if she believes Dr. Conrad Murray killed Michael, La Toya said sternly, "Barbara, something went wrong." She said Michael's children -- Prince, Paris and “Blanket” -- know “very little” about the circumstances surrounding their father’s death, and are visiting a grief counselor to help them cope with their loss. "They're really not allowed to watch television,” La Toya said. “Of course, the Disney Channel is fine. And that's the way their father had it. Everything is monitored when it comes to that. Because people are so cruel." The late King of Pop’s sister added that during Michael’s public memorial service, Paris "wanted so badly to say something to her father." "I think it was ... Stevie Wonder that was on. And she said, 'Auntie La Toya, can I go on now and say something to daddy?' And I started thinking, I said, 'You know what, Paris? At the end we're all going to say goodbye and go on stage and thank the audience and say goodbye.' I said, 'I think that would be a great opportunity for you to go then.' And she said, 'Okay, I'll do it then.'" La Toya said that Paris also said goodbye to her father in private, at his open casket, during a family service the night before the public memorial. "Paris did visit the casket. And she put two stones on his chest. ... They were beautiful. They looked like emeralds," La Toya said. "And it was so sweet and so kind and so delicate and so warm.
