Formerly a Flight Inspector for VARIG. Brazil's national airflight company, she is fluent in Portuguese (Brazil), English, Italian, and French. Lived for some time in New York with Helmut Berger, but strictly as friends to share one of two apartment rents. Born in Brazil, made a sucessful career in Italian cinema. In her homeland, she only worked three times during her lasting career: in 1987 (soap "A Rainha da Vida"), in 1998 (movie "Bella Donna") and in 2000 (acting and directing, movie "Eu Não Conhecia Tururu"). Younger sister of Alina and José Maria and older half-sister of Odete and Sonia Ribeiro.
