Daughter of Austrian composer Willy Mattes and actress Margit Symo
Made her movie debut at the age of ten in Dr. med. Hiob Prätorius (1965).
Said in an interview she never missed her father Willy Mattes after her parents' divorce.
German dubbing voice of "Pippi" Inger Nilsson on "Pippi Långstrump" (1969). She also sang the song played during the opening credits.
