Grew up in Chicago, Illinois, USA. Noted in her books to have stripped under the names Bonbon, Roxanne, and Cherish. Ranked #38 on Entertainment Weekly's 2007 list of the 50 Smartest People in Hollywood (issue #968, December 7, 2007). Attended Benet Academy, a college-preparatory Catholic high school, located in Lisle, Illinois, USA. Another student who attended was Tim McGrath. She graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in media studies. Has been a recurring columnist for Entertainment Weekly since December 2007.
