Singer Kelly Rowland has been inspired to reunite with her Destiny's Child bandmates following the success of the Spice Girls world tour. Rowland admits her and ex-bandmate Beyonce Knowles are considering reuniting after witnessing the success of the reformed British girl-group.


Nigeria's ThisDay festival has hit the stars hard - a day after former Destiny's Child star Kelly Rowland passed out onstage, rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs was forced to cancel a string of commitments after falling ill. Rowland collapsed during her set at the charity show on Sunday and was taken to a hospital in Lagos, where she was treated for dehydration.

Destiny's Child singer Michelle Williams is to join the Chicago production of the musical The Colour Purple.

26-year-old Williams will play blues singer Shug Avery when the Broadway production tours Chicago in April.

"This is just a dream come true. I could not pass up the opportunity to do The Color Purple. To have the privilege of even auditioning was an honour for me," Williams says.
