Deanna Pappas newsBrad Womack Gets Vulnerable In Take Two Of 'the Bachelor'
After suffering panic attacks and hitting rock bottom after refusing to choose a wife in the finale of Season 11 of "The Bachelor," Brad Womack was once again looking for love on the ABC reality show Monday night. Read on for the spoiler-filled recap! He recalled the dark moments he faced after rejecting both Jenni Croft and DeAnna Pappas. "When I got back [home] to Austin, I was alone," Brad remembered. "I watched the finale and I [felt] like a jerk. … I started to think, 'What's wrong with me?'" Brad sought therapy, and analyzed his fear of commitment, realizing it stemmed from his childhood. He explained that his father let him down "more times [than he could] count." But he vowed to let himself be vulnerable, and, after apologizing to Jenni and Deanna, decided to give a field of 25 beautiful ladies a shot at vying for his heart once more. But if he thought it would be easy the second time around, he was set straight by Bachelorette No. 1, as the first lady out of the limo slapped him across the face, saying it was a gift "from every woman in America." Indeed, as he got to know the women, they grilled him relentlessly, wondering if he was truly ready to find love. "This group of women is tough… this group is not pulling a single punch," Brad noted. "I get a really nervous vibe from him, like he's like, the villain," one lady ed to another. The field of female contenders included a dentist, a funeral director, a nanny, a "manscaper" who waxes men's hair, a model named Madison who wears fangs, and a hospital event planner who lost her fiancé in a plane crash, only to find out she was pregnant days later. The ladies who will return to woo Brad next week are Ashley S., who received the first impression rose, along with Michelle, Kimberly, Madison, Emily, Raichel, Keltie, Ashley H., Meghan, Lisa M., Lindsay, Alli, Sarah P., Marissa, Britt, Stacey, Shawntel, Jackie, Melissa and Chantal. "The Bachelor" airs Monday nights on ABC.[Read full story on The Insider]
'the Bachelor''s Brad Womack: A True Love Story Happened!
"The Bachelor"'s Brad Womack, who is famous for being the man who walked away in his season's finale, rejecting both of the women who made it to the final two, tells "The Insider" that his second time around he found love on the ABC matchmaking series. "I am very much in love," he tells "The Insider." "I am a happy guy. It was completely different [the second time around] for so many reasons. I was so much more open to the process. I just had a great time. I know that sounds strange." Brad credits "very expensive therapy" with making the difference in his being open to finding love on TV. "I really did go through intense therapy and all that good stuff," he says. "I wanted to come on the show and be my true self and let people in. It worked. That is what was so different. I wasn't closed off at all. I am a very happy person right now." Brad is also satisfied that he was able to put to rest some of the bad feelings that DeAnna Pappas and Jenni Croft felt for him. This was done through a surprise meeting on the season premiere that was arranged by the producers of the show. "It was a complete shock," he admits. "I had no idea they were going to be there. That conversation was something that I had wanted to take place before that. Jenni and DeAnna were a little tough on me. After we talked for a while, all was forgiven. We moved on. I gained some closure there, so I was appreciative." They weren't the only two women who were tough on Brad. One bachelorette actually slaps him, but the others also grilled him, having some concerns that he was there for the right reasons. "Any chance I had to talk to the women individually … they asked some pointed questions," Brad says. "I tried to get to know who they were and tried to let them know who I was. I didn't do that last time. I was closed off. We got to know each other well this time around and it worked." Even though there is a happy ending this time around, Brad says that if he hadn't fallen in love, he would again have walked away at the end. "Not a chance would I let anyone pressure me to make a decision like that," he says. "I definitely made my own decisions and I felt no pressures." The new season of "The Bachelor" premieres Monday, January 3 at 8 p.m. on ABC.[Read full story on The Insider]

Wedding Bells For Former 'bachelorettes'
The former reality stars of "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" are finding love and getting engaged! DeAnna Pappas -- who starred on season four of "The Bachelorette" -- and former season four "Bachelor" contestant Holly Durst are engaged to twins that they met at a party for 2009's "The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All" special, Us magazine reports. Holly, 27, is set to wed former season five "Bachelorette" contestant Michael Stagliano, 26, while DeAnna, 28, is engaged to his identical brother Stephen. Michael proposed to the Holly at his parent's lake home in Doylestown, Ohio. "I did it at sunset on a dock with a gazebo. I used fishing line to hang 55 fake engagement rings from the roof," he tells Us. Michael says he presented Holly with five fake rings to represent different relationship memories before he gave her the 1.66-carat princess-cut ring. "I was like, 'Put the ring on!'" Secrets Revealed On 'inside The Bachelor'
From a margarita machine in the house to which "Bachelor" required $20,000 of dental work -- the "20/20" special, "Inside The Bachelor: The Stories Behind the Rose," revealed surprising secrets about the hit ABC reality franchise, including, do the couples really get intimate on the show? A show producer divulged that bachelor Matt Grant underwent $20,000 of dental work before making his debut on the show, while it was also revealed on the program that there is a margarita machine on the premises of the house where contestants live during filming. And when it comes to intimacy, "Bachelor" producer Mike Fleiss said that the "average guy has s** with three women throughout the course of the show." The special amicably reunited Brad Womack and the woman he jilted, Deanna Pappas. Womack angered fans by not choosing either of the final two women when he was "The Bachelor," but Pappas went on to break off her engagement to Jesse Csincsak after she became "The Bachelorette." Deanna reflected to ABC cameras, "I wish that I would have done what Brad did, and I probably shouldn't have chosen anyone in the end." The show also caught up with other former contestants, explaining where they are now. Prince Lorenzo Borghese is currently selling pooch products, while former bachelors Travis Stork, Bob Guiney and Jesse Palmer have found careers in television -- on "The Doctors," Game Show Network and ESPN respectively. "Bachelor" Jerry Ferris quit his job at an art gallery and now translates for deaf patients. Charlie O'Connell is still dating Sarah Brice, the woman he chose on "The Bachelor," despite some rocky times, and the couple said an engagement could be coming soon. Another former "Bachelor" participant Meredith Phillips is writing cookbooks and currently living with a filmmaker and expects to be engaged soon as well. "Bachelor" Andrew Firestone is happily married to a Serbian model named Ivana. Sadly, "Bachelor" Guiney is in the process of getting a divorce from "All My Children" actress Rebecca Budig, and said, "It's been a really rough couple weeks recently ... we're thankful to have our friendship." The next outing of the ABC reality franchise arrives in May when Ali Fedotowsky debuts as the next "Bachelorette."[Read full story on The Insider]
Jason Mesnick Is No Longer A 'bachelor' After Marrying Molly Malaney
“The Bachelor” has been busy playing matchmaker. On last week’s season finale, Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi got engaged. On a special episode this week, Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney exchanged vows after falling in love on last year’s controversial edition. The guest list included many familiar faces, including happy couples from “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” history. Jason and Molly cordially invited viewers to their wedding at Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA on February 27. Molly said the “wedding is a really big thank you to the people who have stood by us the last year; a celebration of the fact that Jason and I love each other and we’re going strong.” Once the cameras stopped documenting their daily life, Molly and Jason continued dating long distance for 10 months. Jason was in Seattle to be with his son Ty, while Molly stayed in Wisconsin. The geographical distance was hard to cope with, so Molly packed up her things and moved west. She said that “the transition was smooth” for welcoming Ty into her life and her into his. Before the beautiful bride walked down the aisle, cameras followed their every move as they pieced the big day together. Determined to pack a lot in to one weekend in Los Angeles, Molly and Jason met with Neil Lane to find wedding bands that best represented their relationship. Molly said, “For me, the wedding band symbolizes forever. It’s my future with Jason.” They indulged their sweet tooth, enjoying a sample of red velvet wedding cake. While registering at Macy’s, Jason even zapped Molly, saying he wanted to register for one of her. The two parted ways when it came time for dress and suit shopping. Molly bonded with her mom and sister at the Monique Lhuillier boutique. It was an intimate father-son moment for Jason and his pop at Kenneth Cole. Friends gathered in Sin City to live it up Vegas style for a joint bachelor and bachelorette blow out weekend. While the gals enjoyed a spa day at the Bellagio, the guys hit up the casino. The ladies learned some erotic dance moves in their hotel suite and partied VIP at a one of the top clubs on the Strip. In front of the famous fountains at the resort, Molly and Jason reunited for a romantic moment. Following a wine filled rehearsal dinner and embarrassing roasts from family members, it was time for the bride and groom to go their separate ways for the night. In the bridal suite, Molly and her bridal party got pampered with A-list treatment. Celebrity hairstylist Ken Paves (Eva Longoria) worked on her locks, while Mally Roncal (Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, and Rihanna) made her face glisten. Molly’s “something blue” was a special note from Jason attached to her bouquet that read: “Babe, our forever starts now. I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with you. You truly are stargazing and amazing.” She returned the sentiment, writing to him: “From the moment I met you through to today and for the rest of my life, you will always give me butterflies.” There were two slight hitches encountered in getting hitched. The weather did not cooperate, leading to a downpour as they exchanged vows. However, it did set the stage for a beautiful backdrop with a rainbow arched over the Pacific Ocean. Additionally, paparazzi were trying to peep on the affair, causing security to step in and forcefully escort them off the premises. Molly did not turn into a bridezilla, keeping her cool amidst the stressors. To the song “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” played by “American Idol”’s Jason Castro, Molly was walked down the aisle by her doting father. The couple recited heartfelt poems to one another before white doves were released into the sky. They each put their heart and soul out there by exchanging personalized vows they wrote themselves. Molly’s uncle, the officiate, then pronounced them husband and wife. The Mrs. And Mrs. danced down the aisle in the rain to the reception, where “Bachelor” host Chris Harrison surprised them with a performance by Gavin DeGraw for their first dance as husband and wife. Jason was also glad to have Ty there to witness the wedding, but he and his ex-wife agreed to keep cameras away from him. The newly minted Mesnick’s are not the only couple to have found love on the show. The first “Bachelorette,” Trista, married Ryan Sutter six years ago and are now parents to two young children. “All of my dreams have come true. I have lived a fairy tale,” she said. Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski, from “Bachelorette”’s fifth season, remain engaged and are planning their wedding, yet they have yet to commit to a venue and date. She said, “It’s so crazy to think how stable out relationship is now that it came from something so out of control.” Season 7 of “The Bachelor” brought together Charlie O’Connell and Sarah Brice. They broke up for one year after dating for two and a half, but have since reunited and are going strong. Deanna Pappas has been dating Stephen Stagliano for the past six months. Ironically, his twin brother Michael competed for Jillian’s heart. All of these “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” couples, plus Richard Mathy and Jesse Csincsak from “Bachelorette”’s fourth season and “Bachelor” season 13’s Nikki Kaapke and Stephanie Hogan were on the guest list for the nuptials. Melissa Rycroft and hubby Tye Strickland did not attend. With the exchange of vows, this marks the first time a “Bachelor” couple has become husband and wife. Trista and Ryan are the first and only “Bachelorette” couple to make it down the aisle so far. Some other weddings are on the horizon though, including the union of Jake and Vienna. Cameras caught up with the newly engaged couple to check in. Jake said, “There is no doubt in my mind that Vianna and I will be married.”[Read full story on The Insider]

Secrets From 'the Bachelor: Jason & Molly's Wedding'
"The Bachelor"'s Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney [now Mesnick] got married in a lavish ceremony on Saturday, Feb. 27 in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif. The event will be televised on Monday night for fans of the ABC dating series to see -- but first, ET talks to the happy couple to get the inside scoop on their big day. "I was thinking about this earlier -- and it is too bad you guys won't get to see this -- but literally, a minute before Molly walked out, [my son] Ty tackled me and I had this huge moment with Ty. It was all emotional, and then I took him to his seat. Then Molly came out and I started crying all over again," Jason tells ET. There is an old saying that rain on your wedding day is a lucky omen. Let's hope so, because it poured the afternoon that "The Bachelor" couple took their vows. "I loved every minute of the rain," Molly tells ET. "It started to rain in the middle of the ceremony, right when I was starting to say our vows. We looked at each other and laughed. It made the day far more special than it ever could have been." The wedding party included Molly's sister, Katie, as her maid of honor, and four additional bridesmaids. On Jason's side, his brothers -- Larry and Sean -- stood up for him as his best men with two additional groomsmen rounding out the wedding party. The bride was stunning in a $45,000, strapless gown by Monique Lhuillier, which added a fairytale element to the wedding. So how did Molly know when she had the perfect dress? "I met with [Monique] and tried on a bunch of different styles, but I knew I wanted that mermaid-style dress, something more form-fitting on the top," Molly tells ET. "I needed to try other styles just to get a feel, but once we put on the style that I thought I wanted, we both looked at each other and said, 'Yes, this is the one.' I felt good in it. She thought I looked wonderful in it, but we custom-made a few more design elements to the dress." The bride walked down the aisle as former "American Idol" contestant Jason Castro serenaded the wedding party and guests with the version of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" he had performed on the singing contest. "I always knew when I walked down the aisle, I did not want to walk to the typical wedding march song," Molly explains. "I wanted something more modern. Jason and I both loved the rendition of 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' that Jason Castro sings. It was an easy choice to see if he would do this favor for us. He was phenomenal." Jason and Molly are the first couple from "The Bachelor" franchise to tie the knot. Trista and Ryan Sutter were from "The Bachelorette" -- and among the invited guests for Jason and Molly's wedding. So why does "The Bachelor" couple think that they made it when so many others have failed? "Honestly, I think a lot of it was that we stayed away from Hollywood and went right back to our normal lives," Molly says. "I went right back to work, and Jason went right back to work. We focused on being a normal couple. It wasn't about keeping our face out there. He has Ty, and we wanted to integrate each other into our normal lives. That helped us stay strong." In addition to Trista and Ryan, the guest list included Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski, Charlie O'Connell and Sarah Brice, DeAnna Pappas, Kiptyn Locke, Jesse Csincsak, and Natalie Getz, Stephanie Hogan and Nikki Kaapke, all bachelorettes from Jason's edition of "The Bachelor." Now that the wedding is behind them, Jason and Molly will be taking a two-week honeymoon in South Africa, where they will enjoy both the beaches and a safari to see the animals. "A friend asked me just yesterday, 'Is it any different being a Mrs.?" Molly says. "Going into the wedding, I didn't think life would be different because we already lived together. I was so wrong. I am the happiest I have ever been. I look at Jason differently. He makes me feel differently. Married life is the best feeling in the world and I wish it for everyone." "The Bachelor: Jason and Molly's Wedding" airs Monday at 8 p.m. on ABC.[Read full story on The Insider]

Former 'bachelorette' Says Jillian Harris Is 'head Over Heels In Love'
A former "Bachelorette" leading lady herself, DeAnna Pappas is speaking out about what she's heard about the most recent "Bachelorette" Jillian Harris and her fiancé Ed Swiderski. "Supposedly Jillian and Ed are head over heels in love. I haven't hung out with them, but we have mutual friends, and they say they are just crazy about each other," DeAnna tells Us magazine. "It seems to be working so far." The co-host of Lifetime TV's "Get Married" does admit she did have her doubts about Ed, telling the publication, "I wasn't an Ed fan while [Jillian] was filming the show." Rumors quickly surfaced following the finale of "The Bachelorette" that Ed had been unfaithful to Jillian during the course of the ABC program. DeAnna opens up about the reality show, saying, "I think some people go on the shows with different intentions and maybe they are not open in the beginning what their intentions are. ... So in the end, you get duped."[Read full story on The Insider]
'bachelor' Says He's 'not Proud' Of Decision
Handsome single dad Jason Mesnick opens up on his shocking decision to dump "The Bachelor" winner Melissa Rycroft and instead choose runner-up Molly Malaney. Mesnick tells People magazine he would have rather delivered the bad news to Rycroft in private, but says the contract he signed with the show required him to make his painful declaration on TV. "That was part of the deal. I signed up for it in my contract. Your relationship is -- good and bad -- in front of everybody," Mesnick says. "If I could have, I would have seen Melissa the night before. It killed me. It kills me now," he told People. "I didn't say something right away because I wanted to figure out what was going in inside of me," he said. "There was part of me that wanted things to work out with Melissa so bad. But the whole other piece was I had these crazy feelings for Molly." Mesnick, who was rejected by DeAnna Pappas on "The Bacherlotte" last year, says he knows a lot of viewers have a different opinion of him now and would say: "'That guy is a jerk.' But I'm not proud of what I had to do."[Read full story on The Insider]
The Dramatic 'bachelor' Finale Revealed!
Who would have guessed the grand finale of 'The Bachelor' would have come to this? With the pool of beautiful contenders whittled down to two women, Molly and Melissa, who became the "loves of his life" -- and with the surprise return of DeAnna Pappas with an ultimatum -- handsome single dad Jason Mesnick made a controversial choice that will go down forever in 'The Bachelor' history. "After everything I've been through, I've never been so conflicted in my life," said Jason before he made his final choice. What happened? How did it get to this? Flashback to the beginning of Monday night's season finale: a fun game of golf with Melissa -- and an opportunity to bond with Jason's three-year-old son Ty. Melissa was worried how she'd do with the little guy, but ultimately she was just "herself" and they bonded. Then, it was time to meet the rest of Jason's family -- his overprotective mom, dad, brothers and sister-in-law -- to answer "the tough questions." They've seen him get hurt before with DeAnna, and one key concern was the factor that Jason hadn't met Melissa's parents yet. Later, Jason at least had an opportunity to talk with Melissa's parents on the phone. "It's Jason's time to have all that he deserves," said his father, who recognized the sparkle in his eye and their mutual love for one another. "I'm just so happy for you." At the end of the day, Melissa felt comfortable that she could fit in Jason's world -- and Jason seemed truly in love. "I could spend the rest of my life with either of these girls," he said. Then it was Molly's turn to meet Ty and Jason's family. But could she pass the family test? "I cannot fall in love with someone unless they meet Ty, period," said Jason. "It made me a little nervous," said Molly when Ty didn't immediately take to her at the beach. "I was freaking out." But soon Ty got over his shyness and it became very natural for the two to get along. "This is how life could be, and it's so fun to think like that," said Molly. Next up came the family gauntlet, and after pressing Molly about whether she truly loved their Jason and was willing to commit to him and Ty, she said, "All I can ask you to do is trust me." Then, each of the ladies spent some quality time with Jason -- and declared their absolute love for him, with Molly pulling out all the stops and giving "110%" with a sensual massage, delicious dinner and special scrapbook. Molly or Melissa? Jason was torn as to who to spend his life with. "I see the sincerity in both of them," said Jason, whose mother said he had to "trust his gut." Then, drama: Jason's world was thrown off with the return of DeAnna looking for a second chance. "I came here because I lost out on a great man," she said. "There are a lot of things I'd have done differently. If I would have chosen you, it would have worked." "I guess all I can do is thank you for this opportunity," said Jason. "But I've found two girls that I'm completely falling for. I've got to follow my heart now." "You haven't proposed yet; you still have a chance, and that's why I'm here," said DeAnna. "If you're going to propose tomorrow, you should look further." Finally, it was decision time. After selecting a beautiful, sparkling engagement ring, the final ceremony began. Molly met Jason overlooking the spectacular bluff. "Before you begin, I want to say this has been the most incredible journey I've ever been on," she said. But an ashen Jason told her, "I don't know how I could ever let you go, but I have to. … I'm in love with somebody else. So sorry." "I think you've made a mistake. A big one," said Molly. "I just don't get it." After letting Molly go, Jason was moved to tears. Molly was in a state of shock, and couldn't get over the idea that Jason had just made a huge mistake… "Now, I hope I've made the right decision," said Jason before he finally declared his love to Melissa. "Putting that ring on her finger is going to feel so amazing." "I came into this looking for someone exactly like you," he told Melissa before romantically getting down on one knee. "You make me happier than I've ever been in my entire life. … I am completely in love with you. …Will you marry me?" Of course, there was also the business of the final flower: "Melissa, will you accept this rose?" he asked. "Absolutely!" squealed Melissa. Then, Ty joined the happy couple, who took the plunge -- literally -- in the pool. Happy ending, right? Wrong…. On the emotionally difficult "The Bachelor: After the Final Rose" (taking place six weeks after the proposal), Jason announced some shocking news to show host Chris Harrison: "It's been a crazy time. ... Since this all ended, things have been different. We're not right for each other. … For that love and passion to not be there just breaks my heart. … Over the last few weeks, I haven't been able to stop thinking about Molly; I can't control how I'm feeling." Asked if he was still in love with Molly, he nodded, "Yeah." Was he going to end the engagement with Melissa? "I have to," he responded. "I can't live my life with any regrets, and I have to ask Molly, 'What if?'" Then, Melissa came out to join Jason. He told her point blank, "We're not right for each other. … I still have feelings for Molly." "I thought things were perfect," said a devastated Melissa. "You don't want to fight to see if it would work because you're having doubts over somebody you said goodbye to? You're such a bastard. …Why did you put a ring on my finger? That was a once-in-a-lifetime thing for me and you took it from me. … I'm so mad at you." She handed the ring back: "I don't get it at all, because none of it makes sense." "I hate myself for what I'm doing to Melissa," said Jason, who stood by his decision. She chastised him one more time for putting her through such emotional heartbreak: "Don't call me. Don't text me anymore. Leave me alone, please." And then she was gone: "It's just an awful feeling to give somebody your heart and trust, and then they just throw it away," she said to the camera. Enter Molly, who told Chris that she was still working through her feelings about Jason. "He's such an incredible person, and I will never deny that," she said. "Those kind of feelings don't just disappear. I was in love with Jason; all of that won't go away overnight. My feelings have not changed." Chris returned to the set for the emotional reunion with Molly. After they hashed out the last moments of the show when he chose Melissa over her, he broke the news that he and Melissa were over: "I ended things with her because I haven't been able to stop thinking about you," he said. Molly was dumbfounded. Could this be true? "I'm very confused; I think we still have a lot to talk about, but my feelings never went away. I think we can see where things go," she said. "This is something I dreamt of, but never expected to hear. … I am blown away right now. … I would be lying if I didn't say I was glad that this is happening right now." The pair sealed it with a kiss: "We're both following our hearts and doing what's right for us," said Jason. "It's not the classiest or coolest thing to do in the world, but you can't control what's inside you." The question remains: Will it be brunette Melissa, a 25-year-old sales representative from Dallas, TX, or blonde Molly, a 24-year-old department store buyer from Grand Rapids, MI, to whom he professes his love? Today, ABC released the following tease: "Jason’s proposal to the love of his life was one of the most romantic moments in 'Bachelor' history, but no one is prepared for what happens when Jason and the final two women return to the studio for 'The Bachelor: After the Final Rose.'" Hopefully, one day people will be sorry for the false accusations and mean things that they have said, often on the Internet. Although I did choose to put myself out there on national TV, there are things I believe should be kept private and out of respect for me and Jesse." Pappas tells People there is "no chance" of the two getting back together. As for her upcoming appearance on "The Bachelor" starring Jason Mesnick, Pappas tells People that it "will be worth the wait," adding, "the women were not happy to see me…." Chris Harrison Dishes On Bachelorette Break-up
Chris Harrison opened up Monday about the recent split of the latest “Bachelorette” DeAnna Pappas and her former fiancé, Jesse Csincsak. The host of “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” told 104.3 MY fm's Valentine in the Morning: “DeAnna went to Breckenridge last week and broke up with Jesse. He was stunned. I’ve talked to Jesse several times today, and he did not see it coming.” Harrison claims that Pappas leaked the break-up to the press early: “They also agreed that this was not gonna get out to the public until Thursday, they were going to release a joint statement and try and keep this above board, and she went out on her own, leaked it, and so he’s just feeling a little beat up right now.” “He really truly loved DeAnna,” Harrison says. “He was so happy and he’s like, 'Let’s just go, let’s go to Breckenridge, let’s go to Atlanta, let’s get the heck out of here, and let’s live our lives. Let’s just get to know each other and hang out.'” But Harrison says that Pappas has big Hollywood dreams. He says Pappas has been getting "bad advice" from people like “paparazzi guys, and other people that she’s been running into that have filled her head with, you know, these dreams that she’s going to come to Hollywood and make it big and do all this stuff. And I think her head’s getting a little bigger than it should and I think that’s led to this as well.” Csincsac posted a Youtube video with his thoughts on the break-up.[Read full story on The Insider]
