Dancing with the Stars could actually be called Homewrecking with the Stars if the rumors are true about a major sex scandal involving married dad Drew Lachey and professional dancer Cheryl Burke. The couple were the Season 2 champions and reportedly had an affair during the DWTS' nationwide tour which ended last month, sources told Star magazine. One tour insider said:

"They didn't go very far to cover it up. Cheryl was constantly draped all over Drew. They held hands, had their legs intertwined and were always touching inappropriately."

Matthew Lawrence, Cheryl's then-boyfriend allegedly caught them in the act according to several sources. Yikes!

If you remember Season 2, Drew's pregnant wife Lea was often in the audience cheering him on and little did she know that their chemistry probably didn't end on the dance floor. Drew and Lea have a little 2-year-old girl now and this news may sadly ruin his marriage.

According to sources, Matthew found Cheryl cheating when he went to get something from her dressing room as the tour hit Jacksonville, Fla. on January 22 which Star magazine had investigated for 8 weeks. Matthew was said to have ran out of the room screaming after catching Cheryl and Drew having o**l sex.

The sources also said that Drew had to be restrained as he threatened Matthew and his brother Joey:

"If you talk about this, I'll bury you Matt. I'll bury you Joey. I'm serious I will hurt you."

However, Matthew told Star:

"There are too many things going on. I can't talk about it."

Lawyers for Drew and Cheryl are strongly denying any affair.  Of course they're denying it right now as long as there isn't any hard evidence.

Let's pray for a sex tape a naked photos to circulate the internet! Well, all kidding aside, I think it's natural to have some attraction when working close with someone like that, but how sad for his wife Lea to hear about all of these allegations! If the story is true, I hope she kicks Drew to the curb and takes him to the cleaners.  For Cheryl's part, I doubt it would affect her position on DWTS, but it doesn't look good for her.  I always thought they seemed rather close...
