Brooke was the first actress from her hometown of Waterbury, Connecticut to star on Broadway since Rosalind Russell in 1953's "Wonderful Town".
Went on "an incredible six week cross country adventure" before officially moving to Los Angeles, California in 2007.
Brooke's role in the Season 6 finale of Law & Order: Criminal Intent was written for her after several impressive callbacks for other episodes earlier in the season. The character was named Belle as a nod to her run in the Broadway production of Disney's Beauty & the Beast (as Belle, of course).
