According to The Sun, Paris Hilton has reportedly been in talks to appear in the UK Celebrity Big Brother show.  An insider revealed:

"We told Paris, 'Name your price'. We're in firm talks, and it would be a fantastic coup to get her."

She has allegedly been offered $600K to star in the show scheduled for January 2008.  Another source explained that Paris is trying to change people's opinions of her:

"She wants people to see that she's not a bimbo or a wild child.  She would easily be the star of the show - but obviously she won't do it unless the money is right."

Female First reported that Paris demanded $5 million to star in the German Big Brother - The Village after turning down their initial $1.9 million offer.  However, TV executives told her the salary request was too high.

I guess she wants to make some money.  I still don't know why anyone would be willing to pay her any of those amounts that she has been offered.  Who wants to see her on TV that badly?  I wonder if anyone has taken up her and Nicky to host their New Year's parties yet.
