Vanessa Angel is the pouty British import who captured our attention as the object of affection in Kingpin. She's also a decent No. 2 choice for the woman we would create via computer; Kelly LeBrock will never lose that title. Although still relatively unknown after 20 years in the business, she's a welcome face on our television and movie screens. It's hard to say that Vanessa Angel is famous because she has no groundbreaking work under her belt. She's best known for her role as Lisa on the 1994-1997 television series Weird Science, which was adapted from the 1985 movie of the same name. Her career so far has kept her in small roles, but she is gathering momentum as a leading B-movie starlet.
She was the original choice for the title role in Xena: Warrior Princess. Due to an illness, she was not able to fly to New Zealand to start work in the role of "Xena".
