Does anybody remember Valerie?

I have spent weeks trying to gather information on Valerie Quennessen and apart from the fact that she died in a car accident in 1989, a brief biography and her filmography, nothing else could be found.
Any further info would be welcome

Did you ever find out anything elese about her?She was so pretty in Conan it inspired me to find out what other movies she was in.Unfortinately I found out she had died..I could not find any other information out.It's a shame..

Yeah I remember Valerie Quennessen her very much, I had huge crush on her when I saw her in Summer Lovers and French Postcards. I was doing a search and just found out that she died, very sad indeed. I hope her soul is spreading love and beauty in her next dimension, Hare Krishna.

Valérie Quennessen I remember best in French Postcards, as Toni. She was really talented and a beautiful girl very sad to hear of her loss.

I haven't thought about her in a few years, but French Postcards is one of my favorite movies. I remember she was very beautiful and I just found out today that the she passed away and it's almost twenty years gone by.
It was her eyes and the way she spoke that pulled me in, I'm sad that she died so young.
Other than what you all have found, I can't find anything else.

Yes, this actress had that characteristic French charm. There never seems to be any justice in the world when someone so young dies. Even now she would have only been 51 and I'm sure she would still be very appealing. I've already lived nearly twice as long as her; I can't imagine dying at such a young age--so much of life's experiences to miss! I wonder if there are records of the circumstances of her car accident. If anyone has such information, please send me a copy! Thanks.

I also had huge crush on her in the mid 80's. I would think of her every few years or so,and wonder what ever became of her. Just found out she had passed way back in 89.I'm 54 years old but cried like a baby.Would love to know about her life between 1982 and 1989. Family? Husband ? Just found out today that Valerie had died. All these years she was alive in my memory. She was frozen in my mind as she was in Summer Lovers. She was perfect for that part. I am so sorry she has passed on and at such a young age. Her eyes and voice were beyond perfection. My respects to her family.

I too had a big crush on her. She had the most amazing eyes. Not long after I watched Summer Lovers for the 20th time, I started dating someone that looked just like her (it was not by accident). I read somewhere that a reporter looked up her family because the supposed accident in 1989 could not be found in any records (another urban legend). The family according to the reported convinced him to leave well enough alone. He alluded to the fact that something else happend to Valerie. My guess is that she became mentally unstable or something along those lines. She was always a recluse from most of the acting community and had "retired" before. There maybe some possibility that she just wanted to be left alone to be a mother. Who knows except that reported and her family (and Valerie too).
