A beauty company is suing Teri Hatcher for allegedly breaking a contract by promoting rival products.
Legal papers, filed by executives at Hydroderm skincare in Los Angeles on Tuesday, claim the "Desperate Housewives" actress promoted other beauty items, despite the fact she was paid $2.4 million to solely advertise Hydroderm products.
The lawsuit reads: "Hatcher's name, image and likeness have been linked to so many competitors' products that it is anyone's guess as to what product keeps her skin and lips youthful."
Hydroderm is seeking Hatcher's $2.4 million salary, unspecified damages and its legal costs.
However Hatcher is responding to the suit insisting the allegations are "totally false and completely without merit."
She insists she's the victim of the business deal because management changes at Hydroderm constantly left her unsure of the contract.
In a statement, the actress' lawyer says, "Clearly, Hydroderm has embarked on this unjustified and public assault on Teri Hatcher's good name, reputation and celebrity in a transparent and pathetic effort to distract from its own failure to live up to its end of the agreement.
"Ms. Hatcher will respond swiftly and decisively by appropriate legal means to recover everything she is owed under her contract, as well as compensatory and punitive damages for Hydroderm's outrageous accusations."

by reading this story all it takes is one mistake to get sued. these Corporations think they can Break the law by giving out False Information which is Against the LAW. which is supposed to meet the State Inspection laws before going out to the market . the Public does not like to be Lied to. I dont Support businesses who are dishonest to there Customers. I think they are useing Teri Hatcher for a Escape Goat. Its sounds like to me they are trying to get money out of her if they had a good reason to sue Teri Hatcher I dont see it. if the police go after a suspect who is Arm & Dangerous. the suspect is pointing a gun at the police officers. his life is in danger. the police officer had to take down the suspect. so the Families are sueing the police department for neglect homicide. so the families wins the law suit putting his life in Jeopardy. just like the families sueing the ford motor company because a state trooper died in a car wreck in the state of missouri in 2005 . so the families blamed it all on ford motor company for there sons . death. they are not looking at the reasons why he died in a car crashed it was not there fault he died in a car wreck.. the families are blaming the ford motor company for his car wreck. the car lost control. he was driving over 85 miles per hour on a wild police chase. the suspect would not surrender to the police. I think its really stupid for the famlies sueing the ford motor company for no reason. they will find ways to sue you for no reason to make money . the legal SyStem is all screwed up. its sounds like a Corporate Jerk that Teri Hatcher is dealing with. allot of these Corporate Jerks dont care anything about others. who only care about saving the company money. when you deal with new managerment they will find ways to Replace your job. changeing things around you dont agree with. these Corporate Jerks who dont appreciate you at all . I know from experience dealing with Corporate Jerks. I worked for a private airport in kansas city for 10 years . I had it made for the last 10 years. untill this Corporate Jerk took over the company. causing me to loose my job. he did not appreciate me at all. I worked hard to keep my job. because he did not like me. he fired me for no reason. I have been out of work for 6 months. because of him giving me a bad recommendation its has been hard for me to find work these Corporate Jerks have no consideration for others. they only think of them self and not others . Teri I will not give that skin care company any of my business. I dont support Corporate Jerks at all. Teri I think this law suit is bunch of bs. Teri it makes me really angry hearing about this skin care company sueing you for no reason. this next story I write to you in january will be about a Corporate Jerk .
