It may be more than 20 years since Suzanne Somers last appeared on Three's Company, but her portrayal of Chrissy Snow, the ditzy but lovable character she brought to life in the late '70s, remains a television classic. Since then, she's managed to elude the trap of typecasting and shown us what the real Suzanne is capable of achieving. She was first seen by mass audiences playing the mysterious T-Bird driving blonde in George Lucas' cult classic American Graffiti (1973). She became a household name portraying Chrissy on ABC's hit comedy Three's Company (1977-1981). In the late '80s, she became one of the first celebrities to appear in an infomercial and helped make the ThighMaster a success. Somers spent much of the '90s authoring a series of best-selling books, and starring in another ABC comedy hit, Step by Step (1991-1998).
