A source close Stone told the columnist, “They’re both really happy - but they don’t have long-term expectations. It’s a fun fling for the holidays and Sharon is a good influence. She rarely drinks and has three kids. It’s a good match for now.”

A source tells Celebrities.com that she overheard Justin Berfield talking to his parents, at the Mexicali Mexican Food in Studio City, about Joe Simpson on the set of Jessica Simpson’s new movie Blonde Ambition, which is currently filming and also stars Luke Wilson. A.S over heard the Malcolm in the Middle star confide to his folks “he was not proud of what the project has turned into with Joe controlling ‘all the creative aspects’ of it.” Justin, according to A.S.’s account, also said he believes that Papa Simpson is a liability and that Jessica should realize this. But he thinks her mom Tina does and that’s why she stays in the background. Our source did concluded her tip by saying “It sounded like he [Justin] was very supportive of Jessica and cared about her but thought that Joe gave producers who really work hard a bad name.”

In other Nick Lachey business it looks like the Boss's daughter is a big fan of the former boybander, which then makes her dad, Bruce Springsteen one by association. The New York Post today reports that on the 16th at Z100’s annual Jingle Ball, Bruce “ran across the crowd to gush over Nick and hugged him - so he could go home and tell his daughter, Jessica Rae, he ‘got action from Nick.’ Apparently, she’s completely in love with Nick and Bruce wanted to give her an early Christmas gift by relaying the story to her.”

Finally it looks like it was actually Beyonce Knowles’ dad Matthew that was causing all the ruckus between his daughter and Jennifer Hudson. Mark Malkin reports, that half way through the making of Dreamgirls Matthew had approached the former American Idolist about being her manager. When she turned him down, because she already representation, he got pissy. Because evidently Matthew had already been telling people that he was Hudson’s manager. He was so insulted by her refusal that Matthew and his wife Tina went to the movie’s producers and director Bill Condon and asked them to lessen Hudson’s lines because, Beyonce was getting “short changed”, a request the management baulked at. According to this report Beyonce knew along the role of Effie, Jennifer Hudson’s part, was the meat of the movie, isn’t jealous and the two get along fine.
