Shar Jackson has been acting since the age of three when she enrolled in the Al Fann Theatrical Ensemble. While she attended private school, Jackson began modeling with the Ubiquitous, John Robert Powers and Barbizon agencies. Concurrently, she studied acting with Bob Feldman and, at the age of 11, decided to focus solely on acting. Through the Al Fann Theatrical Ensemble, she was quickly cast in several national commercials and landed guest-starring roles on such series as Roc, My So-Called Life, Hangin' with Mr. Cooper and The Steve Harvey Show. On the big screen, she has been featured in Good Burger, Boom Box (1990), Grand Avenue and CB4. However, she is best known for playing "Niecy Jackson" on Moesha.
Has two children with her ex-boyfriend Kevin Federline, a daughter Kori (b. 31 July 2002) and a son, Kaleb (b. July 20, 2004). She has 2 older children: 9-year-old Cassie and 11-year-old Donnie, as at 2004. Her two youngest children, Kori and Kaleb now have Britney Spears as a step-mother when their father, Kevin Federline married Spears in September 2004.
