Originally auditioned for the role of Commandant Mele-On Grayza, not Noranti on "Farscape" as commonly believed. The producers found that she was "too likeable" to be considered a villain; thus Executive Producer David Kemper created the role of Sikozu Shanu for her in the season 4 premiere episode "Crichton Kicks" after being impressed by her audition for Grayza.
