Born on Signal Mountain, Tennessee, Rachel Boston is a country girl at heart but a New Yorker in spirit. Growing up in Tennessee, she performed in her school, church and community theaters. At 17 she moved to New York City to pursue an acting career. A former Miss Teen Tennessee, Rachel traded her tiara for books of Shakespeare while studying at Fordham University and The Actor's Center. After performing in theater in New York and Pennsylvania for two years, she took the advice of one of her directors, moved out of her Hell's Kitchen apartment and drove 3,000 miles west for the pilot season. After two months in Los Angeles, she landed a role in American Dreams on NBC.
Attended the Girls Preparatory School in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Attended Fordham University before moving to Los Angeles Dated One Life to Live star Brandon Routh. Was Miss Teen Tennessee and top ten at Miss Teen USA in 1999
