Can you imagine Niecy Nash being silenced? The always-vocal Niecy donned some strategically placed duct tape and joined her "Dancing with the Stars" friends to protest Prop 8 with the NOH8 campaign – and we were behind the scenes of the photo shoot! "I think it's very important to support a cause that fights for people's rights," says Niecy. "The image with the tape across the mouth is very powerful because it's representative of people being silenced. You want to give everybody a voice." Niecy and her pro partner Louis van Amstel were joined by such "Dancing" stars as Brooke Burke, Marlee Matlin, Marissa Jaret Winokur and Denise Richards, as well as "American Idol" star Kimberley Locke. "This is such a powerful message done in an artistic way," says Louis. "It's about equal rights for anybody, for any minority group -- let's stop hating." A photo campaign founded by celebrity photographer Adam Bouska and his partner Jeff Parshley, NOH8 is a silent protest seeking to draw attention to the inequality of Proposition 8, which was passed in California back in November 2008, effectively banning same-sex marriage. The three couples to waltz, samba, tango, jive, and rumba to the "Dancing with the Stars" finale showcased two dances apiece on Monday night. "The Insider"'s Niecy Nash was embraced by her former cast mates backstage and they told her how they keep her spirit alive on set. While a contestant, Niec-dog would shriek, "This is it," prior to every performance show to pump up the dancers. Erin Andrews said they have continued the tradition: "All six of us got into a huddle and screamed as loud as we could because we wanted you to hear [in the audience]." All the couples brought the "wow" factor, sometimes in ways they didn't intend to. Erin and Maksim Chmerkovskiy chose a lyrical routine for the freestyle round. During the broadcast Maks ed the bed they used in the performance was not the one they rehearsed with. Host Tom Bergeron emphasized a possible double entendre, but Maks was sure to clear up what he meant when he spoke to "The Insider" after the show. He explained, "We actually rehearsed on a crash mat that was a completely different size and there was nothing on it and it was plastic. And then we come in yesterday morning...to a bed." A slip of the hand, rather than a slip of the tongue, knocked Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough off the pedestal of perfection. Derek honed up about their lift gone awry, saying, "My life flashed before my eyes for a hot second. It was actually my fault. I think because the routine was so intense...that it's never really gone right from beginning to end in rehearsals." Despite the judges' harsh criticism, Evan Lysacek is happy and said he and Anna Trebunskaya choreographed the freestyle with their fans in mind. "We had so much fun and the audience was our driving force," he explained. "We were thinking, if we were at prom, what would we dance like? We wouldn't do like this perfect stuff, we'd have fun and let go." After the 10 paddle only made a few cameos and the eight paddle made some surprise appearances, the decision is very much in the hands of the voters at home. Watch "Dancing with the Stars" tonight on ABC to see each couple perform two more dances and a reunion of the season's entire cast. Niecy promised she'll shake her jiggly parts in a samba to "Bootylicious." Plus, the confetti will fall as one couple holds the mirror ball trophy high above their heads as the "Dancing with the Stars" champions.

Niecy Nash was a favorite among her family at "The Insider," fans, and cast mates on "Dancing with the Stars." After being voted off, she bowed out of the competition with all the grace she learned in her waltz. "The Insider"'s Chris Jacobs and Jill Martin joined her in the ballroom to hug it out. Not fretting over her elimination, Niecy was excited to bring the romance of the dance floor home to her relationship with her boyfriend. "If all things go well, maybe you can be my maid of honor," she said to pro partner Louis Van Amstel. With a little tinge of jealously for her affection, Maksim Chmerkovskiy recalled, "She said that if she didn't have a man, she and I would probably be an item." In tangoing and cha cha-ing her way to the final five, Niecy certainly made a mark on the show with her comedic and nurturing personality. Derek Hough said she "was like the momma...She'd have all the words of wisdom." Erin Andrews loves "Niec-dog" and complimented her for being "a smart and insightful woman." Niecy and Louis are looking forward to getting jiggy and jiggly with it one more time on the finale. The final four couples return to the floor with two more routines each on Monday's "Dancing with the Stars" on ABC.
