Chaz Bono relied on the "tremendous support" of Cher when he competed on 'Dancing With the Stars'.

The 42-year-old activist - who was born a woman named Chastity and began gender reassignment surgery around three years ago - struggled with an injury during his stint on this year's series of the celebrity dance contest but says his famous mother helped him battle on.
Nancy Grace was voted off 'Dancing with the Stars' last night (08.11.11).

The talk show host and professional partner Tristan MacManus found themselves in the bottom two alongside Rob Kardashian and Cheryl Burke and was then given the news she was to leave.

A fart fetish group has made an offer to ABC to license the rights to the infamous Nancy Grace "Dancing with the Stars" fart footage ... we repeat, a fart fetish group ... apparently, they exist.

A rep for the fetish site Clips4Sale.com tells TMZ, the company made an official offer to ABC yesterday -- writing, "After viewing and hearing Nancy Grace's alleged 'toot' after her performance on 'Dancing With The Stars,' [we] would like to acquire the rights of the three-second footage." (below)

The rep adds, "We wish to acquire this for our members of our web site who are 'Flatulophiliacs' or simply put, 'Fart Fanatics'."

It's unclear how much the clip would cost -- or if it's even for sale -- but we're confident these guys can sniff out a good deal.

BREAKING WIND NEWS -- Nancy Grace claims she's been FRAMED in the "Dancing with the Stars" fart mystery ... and tells TMZ an "investigation" is underway to find out who REALLY dealt it.

 

Grace -- who was doing a post-dance interview on the show last night when someone let it rip -- tells us, "As an ear witness on the scene, I can absolutely exonerate Tristan, myself and Brooke."

She adds, "However, the rest of the cast -- seated just inches away -- all remain under grave suspicion.  The investigation continues."

The suspicious letter containing white powder that triggered a crisis at CBS Studios today was addressed to a specific individual connected with "Dancing with the Stars" ... TMZ has learned.



While there's been controversy surrounding Chaz Bono's appearance on the show ... sources tell us the target was NOT an on-air personality or contestant.

 

As we previously reported, it was determined the powder in the letter was not a harmful substance.

A rep for the FBI -- which is investigating the matter -- had no .

Nancy Grace is adamant ... her nip did NOT slip on "Dancing with the Stars" last night ... and insists the object that poked out of her dress last night was merely a PASTY!

Nancy Grace staunchly defended her HARSH criticism of the Casey Anthony jury -- claiming on "TMZ Live" ... "I can speak my mind, this is America."

Harvey Levin argued that Nancy's scathing critique of the jurors on national TV could sabotage the jury process -- and dissuade future potential jurors from wanting to serve.

But Nancy lashed back, "No TV pundit has the ability to sway a jury."

Nancy Grace is perplexed that Ryan O'Neal dropped out of "Dancing with the Stars" because of her, telling TMZ, she never said anything bad about him.

Sources directly connected to Ryan tell us ... the actor was all set to do DWTS but dropped out because Nancy has said bad things about his son Redmond, who has had chronic drug problems, and also suggested he was a bad parent.

But Grace tells TMZ, "We have never covered Mr. O'Neal nor his family on our show," adding, "I hate that he dropped out of DWTS; I would have loved to compete with him and wish him the very best."

Grace says she considers O'Neal to be one of the great actors of our time and she finds his relationship with Farrah Fawcett "an inspiration to me."

Nevertheless, O'Neal has bitter feelings toward Grace ... and he freely discusses that in private.
