Mother of actor Zen Gesner
Was nominated for Broadway's 1959 Tony Award as Best Supporting or Featured Actress (Dramatic) for "J.B."
From her marriage to architect Harry Gesner, she is the mother of actor/son Zen Gesner, best known for his title role in "The Adventures of Sinbad." She and Harry named him after the Japanese Buddhist sect that preaches enlightenment through meditation.
Once wed to musician/composer/producer Robert Emmett Dolan. They had one child: Casey Martin Dolan.
