There seems to be this engine in place to keep Mischa Barton down. It seems wherever she turns for work and stuff, the doors, which may have previously been open, are firmly shut or otherwise. I mean come on, she used be this quite well respected individual who was branded as a fashion icon, flaunted in the media who couldn't get enough of her. Now what's left? Not a lot. The credibility she once traded on has disappeared for good and she's truly finding out who her friends really are in the glitterati. Where once she would have been inundated with free gifts, such rewards are no longer met. She was caught up in this chain and built her very existence upon it. She became a product. And an unhealthy unsustainable one at that. It's further true that her once educated spontaneous tone became one full of repetitious self-aggrandisement. Caught up in the whirlwhird of early success it was probably too hard to imagine when days would run dry. Which nicely brings me back to me full circle; the machinations are now keeping Mischa firmly in her place...
As the old adage doth protest: "Be nice to people on your way up because you meet them on your way down."
Get well Misch
