Graduated from Hollywood High School. Played Michael J. Fox's mother in long-running comedy series "Family Ties" (1982) (1982-89) and guest starred as Michael J. Fox's mother in episode 2.9 ("Family Affair") of "Spin City" (1996) in 1997. Stepdaughter of Allan Manings. Has two older brothers: Richard Whitney (b. November 24th 1944) and Brian Thomas (b. February 18th 1946), both born in Los Angeles. Son Ted Bush (born 1967) and Daughter Eva Bush (born 1969) with Robert Lewis Bush. Grandchildren: Sophia, Bella (Eva's daughters) and Eli (Ted's son).
