Gilmore Girls' Melissa McCarthy, 37, who plays Lorelai's best friend Sookie St. James, and husband Ben Falcone (Joey) have announced they are expecting their first child this May.  "We are so excited about the baby," Melissa says. "I'm hoping the baby has a lot of Ben's calm traits and less of my spazzy ones."

The couple was married in 2005. Melissa is also a member of the Groundlings.
