Was nominated for Broadway's 1998 Tony Award as Best Actress (Featured Role - Musical) for a revival of "Cabaret." Played stripper Tessie Tura opposite Angela Lansbury's Rose in the 1974 revival of "Gypsy" and was Ms. Lansbury's understudy as well. Starred in the hit revised Broadway musical 'Cabaret' as Fräulein Schneider along with Alan Cumming (X2) and Natasha Richardson (The Parent Trap). She was nominated for "Best Featured Actress in a Musical" however missed out on the title. The production, nominated for a total of ten 1998 Tony Awards, won four: Best Revival of a Musical, Best Actor in a Musical (Alan Cumming), Best Actress in a Musical (Natasha Richardson), and Best Featured Actor in a Musical (Ron Rifkin). Winner of the 2007 Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her role as old Edith Bouvier Beale in "Grey Gardens".
