Initially auditioned for the role of Rory Gilmore in "Gilmore Girls" (2000).
The character of Paris Gellar on Gilmore Girls was written for Liza, because she was wanted in the show.
She became an aunt in 2006, when her sister Samantha had a child after she moved to the Los Angeles area.
She and her Gilmore Girls co-star Dakin Matthews (Hanlin Charleston, headmaster of Chilton) both appeared in the same episode of the first season of the West Wing (Take Out the Trash Day).
