Born and raised in New Jersey, Lisa Marie moved to Manhattan and by age sixteen had become a model and actress. She has modelled for photographers Robert Mapplethorpe and Bruce Weber and has worked with, among others, Woody Allen and Tim Burton.

Her films include Ed Wood, Mars Attacks!, Breast Men, Frogs for Snakes and Planet of the Apes.
Was offered the role of Kathy in Vanilla Ice's film debut, Cool as Ice. Engaged to Tim Burton, split with him in 2001. [1992-2001] Attended Catholic school as a child. When she met Tim Burton in a club at New Year's 1991, she had just quit modeling for Calvin Klein. She became his inspiration and muse for many of his films. Grew up in New Jersey, raised by her father and her grandparents. Her grandmother died when Lisa Marie was four. She moved to New York at age 16 to study theatre, dance and music. Professional dancer - she studied ballet for eight years. For her role in Mars Attacks!, her costume was so tight that it had to be stitched on. To research her role of Vampira for Ed Wood she sought out Maila Nurmi, the original Vampira that her character was based on. Plays guitar and piano.
